Carmen J. Stugart, 80, of Montoursville, passed away on May 7, 2021, at The Gatehouse with family.
She was born on July 4, 1940, in New Columbus, the daughter of the late Raymond P. and Marjorie (Parker) Hartzel.
Carmen enjoyed word puzzles, game shows, country music, and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert F.; and three brothers, Larry, Glenn and Dale Hartzel.
Surviving are her two sons, Scott A. (Karen) Stugart, of South Williamsport, Brian K. Stugart, of Montoursville; three daughters, Shelly A. (Alan) LaForme, of Muncy, Heather L. (Ronald) Williams, of Montoursville, Megan L. (Maldonio) Ruiz, of Loganton; brother, Lewis Hartzel, of Muncy; sister, Cynthia Lauffer, of Montoursville; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service held in Montoursville Cemetery on Tuesday, May 11 at 11:30 a.m. with Elder Bud Yoder officiating.
There will be a walk-through viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville.
Following Pennsylvania Department of Health guidelines, masks and social distancing will be required.
