Peggy Jane Guisewhite, 80, of Hepburn Township, died October 2, 2019, at her residence.
She was born August 5, 1939, in Williamsport, a daughter of the late Budd M., Sr and Marguerite (Stitzer) Souter.
Peggy Jane was a sales representative for Avon and a caretaker for families. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, was active in wildlife conservation, and enjoyed collectibles.
In addition to her parents, preceding her in death was a brother, Budd Souter Jr.
Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Ronald L. Guisewhite; two sons, Douglas (Nancy) Watts and Todd (Kathi) Watts, both of Montoursville; a brother, Edward (Sally) Souter; sister-in-law, Julie Souter; six grandchildren, Stephanie (Matt) Ferguson, Tymen Watts, Samantha Watts, Jonathan (Ashley) Watts, Benjamin Watts, and Kaleb Watts; and four great grandchildren, Savannah, Cecilia, Brock, and Wyatt.
A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Friday, October 4, at Bethel United Methodist Church, 717 Kimble Hill Road, Williamsport, with Rev. James R. Behrens officiating. The service will be followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments.
A graveside committal service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 5, in Twin Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church.
