Suzanne C. Venema Edmonds, 67, of Bloomsburg, died December 5, 2019, at her residence.
She was born August 15, 1952, in Williamsport, a daughter of the late Raymond E. Sr. and Marian A. (Raker) Venema.
Suzanne graduated from Montoursville Area High School and the former Williamsport Area Community College as an x-ray technician and worked at the former Divine Providence Hospital for many years until she had children and became a stay at home mother. She loved shopping, traveling to see her family, and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her in-laws, Glenn and Patricia Edmonds; a brother, Raymond Venema Jr; sister-in-law, Julie Venema; and brother-in-law, Scott Edmonds.
Surviving are her loving husband, of 46 years Lon Edmonds; three sons, Lon Jr. (Heather) Edmonds, Kevin (Cristina) Edmonds, and Dr. Daniel (Allison) Edmonds; a daughter, Cami (Jonathon) Edmonds; two brothers, Patrick (Rebecca) Venema, and Norman Venema; a brother-in-law, Tod Edmonds; a sister, Marianne (Jimmie) Lundy; a sister-in-law, Susie (Bob) Moccio; and seven grandchildren, Blade, Willow, Luke, Wren, Ethan, Titus, and one on the way in January.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 9, at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville, with Rev. Paul Converse officiating. Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
