Obituary

Adriana (Adri) G. Niven-Whitcraft, 14, of South Williamsport, went to be with the Lord on March 24, 2020.

She was born July 18, 2005, in Danville, a daughter of Anthony J. Whitcraft and Holly J. Niven.

Adri was a freshman at South Williamsport High School, was a member of the track team, SADD club and Connecting the Pieces club.

Adri was a beautiful, fun, outgoing, silly and very kind girl who loved being with her family and friends more than anything. She had a natural love of all animals, especially her beloved cat, Roxy and her dog, Bailey. She enjoyed dancing, especially Tik Tok. Adri was perfect in so many ways and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two brothers, Devan and Joey; maternal grandparents, Robert and JoAnn Niven, of South Williamsport; paternal grandparents, Anthony and Kelly Whitcraft, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; four aunts, Jamie (Byron) Pike, Janelle (Daniel) Young, Kimberly (Robb) Decker, and Andrea (Justin) Whitcraft; and lots of cousins that she had a special bond with and loved dearly.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date for her friends and family to celebrate her beautiful life. A private family burial will be held in Edgewood Cemetery with Pastor Richard Waters officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), 199 Water St, 11th fl, New York, NY 10038.
