Obituary

Carol J. Peace, 90, of Montoursville, died Thursday, June 2, 2022 at her residence.

Born March 19, 1932 in Falls Creek, PA, she was a daughter of the late Eleanor Sinclair.  Carol was a graduate of Falls Creek High School, and the Clearfield School of Nursing.  She retired from Divine Providence Hospital as a Registered Nurse.  Carol was a member of Montoursville Presbyterian Church where she was also a Deaconess.  She was a dog lover, especially her “Murphy”.

 Surviving is her husband of 36 years, Donald W. Peace; two daughters, Jamie (David) Hahn, Lisa Swoyer; a son, Edward (Kelly) Peterson; three step-sons, Brent Peace, Brian (Tammy) Peace, Brad (Erin) Peace; nine grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a sister Barb Collier. 

A graveside memorial service will be on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 10 A.M. at Montoursville Cemetery, by Rev. David C. Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carol’s name to The Montoursville Presbyterian Church, 205 Tule Street, Montoursville, PA 17754.

Services are being handled by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
