Obituary

Gerald “Jerry” W. Wright, 91, of Loyalsock Township, passed away on June 14, 2022 at UPMC Susquehanna.

He was born May 6, 1931 in Watsontown, son of Frank E. and Abby (Young) Wright.

Jerry retired from the former Acme Markets. He was a Korean War U.S. Navy veteran. He was a life member of Clyde F. Mowrer American Legion Post #323. He was a member of Faxon Kenmar United Methodist Church, and Watsontown Lodge #401 F&AM. Jerry loved hunting, fishing, trips to Canada, and collecting Indian artifacts along the Susquehanna River.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, the former Connie M. McClintock.

He is survived by his son, Frank W. (Pam) Wright of Montoursville; daughter, Cynthia A. (Chris) Harrison of Shavertown; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

At Gerald’s request there will be no services.

Arrangements are being handled by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
