Helen Louise Miller Stroud Blank, 95, of Loyalsock Township, died on March 8, 2021, at The Williamsport Home.
She was born on June 10, 1925, in Elimsport, daughter of Myron and Mary Hazel (Miller) Leiby.
Helen worked at the former Ray O Vac, graduated from Montgomery High School, was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and St. Paul Lutheran Church until its closing and attended St. Ann’s Catholic Church with her husband LaRue Blank, both Helen and her husband were members of the Antlers Club where they enjoyed dancing.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Hazel Miller Leiby and step-father, Myron Leiby; husband, Glenn H. Stroud, who passed on July 29, 1972 and husband, LaRue (Tony) Blank, who passed on August 14, 2010; five brothers, Walter L. Miller, Paul R. Miller, Daniel Leiby, James W. Leiby, and Myron (Dutch) Leiby; and a sister, Dorothy Leiby.
Surviving are daughter, Glenda (Jeff Easter) Stroud; sister, Florence M. Benfer; nieces and nephews, Dan and Joel Easter.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, March 13, 2021, 2:15 in Montoursville Cemetery with Vicar Carol E. Johnson officiating.
There will be a walk-through viewing on Saturday, 1-2:00 p.m. at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, PA 17754.
Following Pennsylvania Department of Health Guidelines, mask and social distancing will be required.
