Obituary

Jerry Clair Hepburn, 77, of Montoursville, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Monday, January 10, 2022.

He was born October 19, 1944 in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Chester A. and Idabelle Keefer Hepburn.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and wood working. His greatest pastime was spending time with his family and fishing with his grandchildren.

Surviving is his wife, Sandra Corson Hepburn of Montoursville. They were married at Wesley United Methodist Church, Market Street, Williamsport, June 8, 1968 and celebrated 53 years of marriage; his Son, Jerry L. (Lisa) Hepburn of Corning, NY; his daughter, Lori A. Hepburn Benson (Tim) of Levittown, PA; four grandchildren, Alexander Lee Hepburn and Nicholas James Hepburn of Corning, NY, Katie Jane Benson of Fredericksburg, Virginia and Valerie Ruth Benson of Levittown, PA; his brothers, Larry Hepburn of Cogan Station, Ronald Hepburn and Donald Hepburn of Montoursville; and sister, Bonnie Hepburn of Montoursville.

Jerry graduated in 1963 from Williamsport High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1967 and he was stationed at Cam Rhan Bay, Vietnam. He retired from the Local Union 812 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in 2006 after 40 years. He also owned and operated Picture Perfect at Lycoming Mall for 11 years.

Jerry wanted to thank Dr. Wyshock and his staff and Dr. Muchnik and his staff for their excellent care given to him while at Divine Providence Hospital Cancer Treatment Center.

In keeping with his wishes, no service will be held. The family has entrusted Spitler Funeral Home with arrangements. Private burial will be in Montoursville Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
