Joseph D. DiParlo, Jr., 65, of Cogan House Township, died April 18, 2019, at his residence.
He was born January 17, 1954, in Williamsport, the son of Joseph, Sr. and Veronica (Foresman) DiParlo.
Joseph retired as a pipe liner. He was a volunteer fire fighter for Trout Run and Hepburnville Fire Companies, coached AYSO Soccer, Little League softball, and was an assistant coach for Liberty High School softball. He also enjoyed NASCAR and Penn State football.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Joseph F.; and a sister, Carmen L. Haefner.
Surviving is his wife of 47 years the former, Cynthia Crossley; a son, Michael E. (Sara) DiParlo, of Canton; three daughters, Aundrea (Matt) Randall, of Cogan Station, Beth DiParlo, of Trout Run, and Janelle DiParlo, of South Williamsport; and seven grandchildren, Tyler, Megan, and Bailee Randall, Gavin Hunsinger, Gianna DiParlo, and Ayden and Cayson DiParlo.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville, conducted by the family. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery.
A viewing for family and friends will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
