Lois C. Fogleman, 96, of Montoursville, passed away on April 18, 2020, at Valley View Nursing Center.
She was born on March 30, 1924, in Eldred Township, the daughter of the late William and Olive (Rathmell) Dangle.
Lois graduated from Montoursville Area High School, and worked for the former GTE Sylvania and the former Hofers Restaurant. She was one of the oldest members of the Warrensville United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and held other offices within the church, and was a member of the Wheel Inn. She also enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in Calvert.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William; daughter, Connie Smith; sisters, Alta Spaeth, Ruth Reeder, Mary Derr, twin sister, Lula Reeder; and great granddaughter, Emma Lou.
She is survived by her sons, Denny (Doris) Fogleman, Jimmy (Melanie) Fogleman; son-in-law, Lynn Smith; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
A family graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., in Montoursville Cemetery, with Rev. Marie E. Lewis officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Warrensville United Methodist Church, 4570 St. Route 87 Highway, Williamsport, PA 17701.
