Paul S. Seaman, 97, of Williamsport, died on March 18, 2021, at The Gatehouse.
He was born on April 17, 1923, in Williamsport, son of the late Richard and Margaret (Stryker) Seaman.
Paul attended Williamsport Schools and graduated in Philadelphia. He was employed by the Williamsport Post Office for 39 years and later worked at the Loyalsock Animal Hospital, he served in the Army Air Corps from 1942-1945 where he was a staff sergeant. He also served in Pacific 67th squadron, 433 troop carrier, and group 5th air force as an aerial photographer, he was a member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church for over 50 years and was on their church council, he was also a member of the Texas Blockhouse Fish & Game Club, Loyalsock Men’s Club, Lycoming Historical Society, the James Brown Library, and the former Wheel Inn. He loved his country and was an avid hunter and fisherman, he won the triple trophy two out of three years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Galen and Richard; and two sisters, Jane Sallada and Margaret Swingle.
Surviving is his wife who he married April 17, 1948, the former Evelyn Haas; two sons, Jack (Kathy) Seaman and James (Song) Seaman; two daughters, Kristie J. (Red) Anders and Beth (Patrick) Stone; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
