Richard Lynn Paulhamus, 71, of Montoursville, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020, peacefully at his residence with his family by his side.
He was born January 12, 1949, in Williamsport, the son of Ralph E. and Faye T. (Newman) Paulhamus.
He was a veteran of the United States Marines, serving in the Vietnam War, he was a manager at Weis Markets and retired as a field supervisor in archeology, he was a member of the Cherry Valley Lodge, he enjoyed hunting, loved his grandchildren and being a part of their sporting events.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Patrick and Dennis.
He is survived by a son, Matthew W. (partner, Jen Grissom) Paulhamus, of Williamsport; a daughter Michelle L. (Michael) Deitrick, of Montoursville; a brother, Michael W. Paulhamus, of Montoursville; a sister, Judith A. (Jeff) Harris, of Trout Run; and four grandchildren, Zacharie, Noah, Avrey, and Luke.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday, September 29, from 10-11 a.m. at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville.
There will be a graveside service Tuesday, September 29, 11:30 a.m. at Twin Hills Memorial Park with Rev. David B. Letcher officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the Korean War Veterans of Lycoming Co. Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third street, Williamsport PA 17701.
