Rose M. Evanchik Fox, 72, of Eldred Township, passed away on July 1, 2021 at her residence.
She was born on August 2, 1948, in Williamsport, daughter of the late Metro and Helen (Hall) Evanchik.
Rose and her husband farmed in Eldred Township. She was a member of the Trout Run Tractor Pull Association and the Loyalsock Valley Antique Machinery Association. She enjoyed crocheting, playing games on the computer and bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, John Evanchik.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ronald L.; son, Jeffrey L. (Kelly) Fox, of Cogan Station; daughter, Janice M. (Richard Jr.) Shelley, of Cogan Station; brother, Wayne “Dave” Evanchik, of Florida; three sisters, Mary (Charlie) Wheeland, Nancy Paulhamus, Roseann (Doug) Fessler, all of Montoursville; two grandchildren, Timothy L. and Elizabeth A. Fox, and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
