Shaun A. Rennicks, 38, of Montoursville, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 at UPMC Susquehanna.
He was born on July 28, 1982 in Williamsport, the son of Gerald W. and Tammy (Packer) Rennicks.
He worked at Eureka Resources. When he wasn’t outside creating spray paint art, building something with the boys, making knives and gardening, he was at the Williamsport School of Self Defense. He enjoyed training mixed martial arts and he shared that love with his boys. Shaun was known for being an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. In the Spring, Summer, and Fall, he could be found enjoying the freedom of two wheels on the open road. Shaun was an amazing husband and father. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Shaun was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Beverly Packer; and uncle, Michael Packer.
Surviving is his wife, Rebecca; two sons, Jesse W. and Remington L. Rennicks; mother, Tammy and step-father, Michael Scampone; paternal grandparents, Vern and Dot Bennett; five brothers, Christopher (Tarah) Rennicks, Jerry Rennicks, Jeremy (Alyssa) Rennicks, Tyler Rennicks, and Joseph Rennicks; six sisters, Megan (Gary) Apker, Emily (Tom) Bacon, Alisha (Tony) Bacon, Chelsea (Zac) McGill, Rebecca (Doug) Scampone, and Mariah (Mike) Simon; his Uncle Gary (Sharon) Rennicks and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life memorial will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, 12-5:00 p.m. at Eldred Township Fire hall, 5556 Warrensville Rd., Montoursville.
Arrangements are being handled by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
