Stanley E. Helt, Sr., 81, of Williamsport, passed away July 6, 2022 at Manor Care South.
He was born June 14, 1941, son of the late Edward and Pauline (Kuno) Helt, Sr.
Stan worked as foreman for the Williamsport Municipal Water Authority for the last 45 years. He was a member of the Newberry Lions Club, Polish Club, St. Joseph the Worker and formerly the Holy Rosary. Stan has been a part of Little League for more than 40 years. He first started out with Newberry Little League where he was the president for 14 years, and then went on to work for Little League International where he was a host uncle for many teams. He loved baseball and helping the kids that got to make it to the world series. He was loved by so many, especially by his family. He always saw the best in everyone and knew how to put a smile on your face. If you were ever in trouble, Stan would always be there for you to get you out.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sons, Jaquill Helt and Stanley E. Helt II.
He is survived by his wife, the former Jean Chambers; six daughters, Suzi Helt Rook, Gina Helt (Kenneth) Jones, Nina Helt, Sabrina (Levinia) Lawson, Talaya Helt, and Sandreyah Helt; two brothers, Edward Helt, Jr. and Walter (Cindy) Helt; sister, Sophia (Warren) Helt Kennehan; 19 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
