Victory A. Bohner, 78, of Montoursville, peacefully went to the Lord on Monday, November 15, 2021 in her beloved home, surrounded by her family.
Born September 2, 1943 at the Annapolis Naval Academy Hospital in Annapolis, Maryland. She was the daughter of the late Theodore Corter and Christine J. (Kinley) Corter, Reachard.
Vicky was a graduate of Montoursville High School, class of 1961. She then worked as a secretary for the State Department of Health in Williamsport. Later, she attended the Williamsport Area Community College and earned her L.P.N. She went on to earn her R.N. through the Geisinger Medical Center nursing program. Vicky retired after 35 years as an R.N. from Divine Providence Hospital where she worked in various departments, with her final being Night House Supervisor.
She was a member of the Montoursville Lioness Club and Divine Providence Hospital Retirees. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, wintering in Florida, and spending time with her friends and family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rick Corter.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Roger D. Bohner; son, Roger D. (Natalia) Bohner, Jr. of Montoursville; daughter, Kelly J. (Fiancé Michael Sigona) Riggle of Montoursville; sister, Cheryl (William) Elliehausen of York, PA; and four grandchildren, Alyssa (Riggle) Correll, Elizabeth Bohner, Kendra Riggle, and Oleg Bahner.
At Vicky’s request there will be no public services.
