Bud (Walter Harlo) Perchinski, 66, of Williamsport, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at UPMC Williamsport as a result of COVID-19.
He was born on May 9, 1954, in Williamsport, PA, the son of Eugene A. Sr., and Frances E. (Hakes) Perchinski.
Bud was a manager of front office administration at Brodart Furnishings, in McElhattan, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Randy Lee Perchinski.
Surviving is his wife of 43 years, the former Jackie Mansuy; three children, Sarah (Kauhi) Talbert of Kennett Square, Molly (Tristin) Forney, of Williamsport, and Michael A. Gentile, of Mammoth, CA; Brothers, Robert Welteroth (Phyllis), Steven Welteroth, and Gino (Robin) Perchinski.
Bud was a devoted husband, a loving father and considered his grandchildren, Aiden, Michael, Oliver and Eloise, his greatest blessings. Bud's gift was his endless capacity for love, his ability to give and receive it, and the wide-eyed joy and enthusiasm he had for others. He was a family man, with a welcoming spirit. His positive nature was grounded in humor, jokes, and laughter. He will be deeply missed by his family and countless friends.
Due to COVID-19 protocol, a life celebration will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests if you encounter someone who does not have a mask, provide them one. Be diligent about contact precautions, wear a mask, practice social distancing, and avoid gatherings.
There will be a life celebration on June 26, 2021, 11:30-1:30 at Indian Trail Park, Montoursville, pavilion #4. The family requests that you please wear a mask.
